In the words of her father John, Stephainy is a brave young lady.

Stephainy is a hardworking mother doing everything she can to provide for her two boys. For the last two years Stephainy has had no heated water, as the electrical in Stephainy’s house, is in dire need of help.

After a handful of abusive relationships, Stephainy moved into her house 5-6 years ago because she needed a place for her and her boys and the options were very limited. While a roof over your head is important, even if it leaks, electricity provides us with comforts we take for granted

We often forget how lucky we are to be able to take warm showers or wash dishes in warm water. A bathtub filled with cold water; is not exactly how you want to spend your relaxing evening. Therefore, Stephainy and her children often shower anywhere they can, except in their own home.

Considering that at once point there were large flaming arcs coming out of one of the electric panels in her boy’s room, the electricity is also very dangerous.

But as her father said, Stephainy is a brave young lady.

John has been able to scrape up what he can to help Stephainy get at least a plugin working, which Stephainy uses to heat an electric frying pan for boiling water. Incredibly resourceful, but hardly convenient. She is also looking forward to a new Pellet Stove to help warm the house up.

While Stephainy is not behind on any of her bills as of now, money is incredibly tight, as she is a single mother raising two young boys. With the way things are going, Stephainy will be unable to provide her boys with a Christmas this year…

Thanks to Trina Whitten at Columbia Crest Financial Advisors in Partnership with Bean Electric A large portion of those electrical costs are going to be brought down, putting Stephainy on track to a normally functioning environment.

Wish Upon A Star with be providing Stephainy with a new Hot Water Heater as well as gift card to DC Farmers Co-Op to get pellets for her new stove, or whatever necessities she may need.

Gary over at Die Hard Construction will be providing Stephainy with a gift card to Fred Meyers so that Stephainy can provide those boys with a Christmas to remember!

And we have teamed up with B&D Meats to fill Stephainy Freezer with a variety for meats through the winter.
