Brittany’s struggles started early on, facing dental issues that persisted through her life. Growing up in a challenging environment, raised by a single mom who couldn’t provide the dental care she needed, Brittany faced teasing and learned to hide her smile to shield herself from the pain of being picked on.

Life took a difficult turn when she thought she found love, only to witness the relationship turn unhealthy. Tragically, after Brittany voiced her need to break away, her partner took his own life, sending her into a spiral of despair. However, from those depths, Brittany found her way back, remarried, and discovered the support and love she truly deserved.

Despite saving up to fix her teeth, a previous attempt resulted in a nightmare. $17,000 financed, and the dental work not only fell short but also caused further damage. The ordeal left Brittany avoiding joyful events, haunted by the insecurity her smile brought.

But hope shone through the clouds when Brooke Communications and Rogue Credit Union’s Wish Upon a Star program stepped in. The office of Dr. Alanson Randol offered to rectify her dental issues, giving her the chance to reclaim her smile. “I want to know what it’s like to smile,” Brittany expressed, emotions brimming with anticipation. Keri Blue Photography, a heartfelt contributor, will recreate her wedding photos, capturing the genuine happiness of a smile she’s yet to experience.
