After being diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer just last month and starting chemotherapy, all while caring for her husband during his 6-8 week recovery from back surgery, Laura has faced immense challenges—yet she’s spent years selflessly helping others by caring for the elderly, volunteering for veterans’ suicide prevention and in the community, and often working two jobs. Thanks to her nominator’s heartfelt wish and the generosity of our community, this devoted couple and their family are receiving the support and blessings they need for a truly merry Christmas.
